Entry-Level HVAC/R Technician – Residential & Light Commercial
Hands-on opportunity for a dependable, mechanically inclined person ready to build a career in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration. Training and guidance provided.
Key Duties
- Assist with service and repair of residential and light-commercial HVAC/R equipment
- Preventive maintenance and inspections
- Work on package units, split systems, mini-splits, reach-ins and small walk-ins
- Learn electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting
- Complete service documentation
Qualifications
- Entry-level applicants and recent trade-school graduates welcome
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable attendance
- Willingness to learn
- Able to work outdoors, climb ladders and lift equipment
- EPA certification preferred but not required
Ammonia Refrigeration Technician
Experienced, safety-focused technician for industrial and agricultural ammonia refrigeration systems.
Key Duties
- Diagnose, repair and maintain compressors, evaporators, condensers, vessels, pumps, valves and controls
- Perform preventive maintenance, leak checks and troubleshooting
- Support startups, shutdowns and emergency service
- Follow OSHA, PSM/RMP, facility and company safety procedures
Qualifications
- Hands-on ammonia or industrial refrigeration experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of ammonia system safety
- Valid driver's license
- RETA, CIRO/CARO, welding or controls experience preferred
Experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician
Experienced technician who can independently diagnose, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration and light-commercial HVAC equipment.
Key Duties
- Work on walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, beer caves, display cases, package units and controls
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot compressors, motors, electrical, refrigerant, airflow and defrost issues
- Communicate clearly with customers and complete service documentation
- Participate in an on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Proven commercial refrigeration experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- EPA Section 608 certification
- Valid driver's license
- Professional customer service
- Ice machine, controls, hot-side or HVAC experience is a plus
